Essential Oils Desk Reference, compiled by Essential Science Publishing, shares how essential oils are some of the oldest and most powerful therapeutic agents known. Most people today are unaware that they have an impressive, multimillennial history of use in healing and anointing throughout the ancient world. Dozens of essential oils are cited repeatedly in Judeo-Christian religious texts and records show they were used to treat virtually every ailment known to man at that time. With the advance of antibiotics and prescription drugs during the last century, natural therapeutic agents, especially essential oils, have been largely overlooked. In their pure state, essential oils exhibit significant and immediate antiviral, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and hormone-balancing effects. In clinical practice, they have been shown to have a profound influence on the central nervous system, helping to reduce or eliminate pain, release muscle tension and provide strong emotional uplift.

Steps in Pursuit

  1. Using a diffuser to release the oils in your home, is a great way for the whole family to benefit. Pick one or two oils to start with and watch the results in your family.
  2. Try keeping a bottle of essential oil in the bathroom and use a few drops in the morning and evening.
  3. Children enjoy using the oils also. Many of the children that I have worked with have reported feeling more relaxed at school when they have used the oils in the morning.

I hope that sharing some of these essential oils that help promote emotional wellness will encourage you to try these amazing natural resources that God has created for our benefit.

Continue the Pursuit,

Denise
